The rigid or semi-rigid foils generally used for these applications are made of PVC or TPO.
Furniture foils can basically be divided into 2D and 3D applications. Their basic requirements are comparable. They must be extremely resistant to chemicals, and highly resistant to scratching and abrasion. The requested visual and tactile characteristics range from high-gloss to very dull finishes with hard, smooth and even soft-feeling surfaces. Coating systems for 3D applications must also be sufficiently elastic to withstand subsequent processing stages. For these applications, we recommend the high-quality 2K systems in our ROWADEKOR® series.
